At 6:15, while she brushed her hair, Nell began to have two strokes. One is in the speech center, near the surgical site, the other is deeper in the brain in an area that controls touch and skin sensitivity. The doctors are confident that she should recover from both, but at this point hold out little hope that this is the last of them. This night has put two new moments into the horrible picture album of pain that is this path the Lord is leading us on.
Nell is in ICU at Children's. We are breathing on your prayers. Lord, have mercy on Nell. No more words.

ReplyDeleteOur prayers join with all the other brothers and sisters in Christ. He has been using Nell for 17 years to bring many to know of Him. You know He uses willing vessels, which Nell has become with God's help, yours, and Martha's. She is a beautiful Child of God and He is just using her once again to bring glory,honor and praise to His Kingdom! Hold on tightly and know Our Lord is holding onto you and your family even tighter! He loves you all very much! He will bring you once again through the massive and frightening waves.
ReplyDeleteThank God that He knows what He is doing. We would only get in the way if we knew...we manage to get in the way, anyway! What is left is Trust in Him and His Eternal Plan for Nell. All our prayers surround the Allard family, and, of course, Nell. Love from the Loper's & McDivits
